Important Date

- Stage I (INET Exam): May 2025.

- Batch 02/2025: September 2025 at INS Chilka, Odisha.

Application Fee
- Amount: ₹850 + 18% GST (Total: ₹1,003).
- Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card/UPI).
- Note: Fee is non-refundable and applies only to Stage I.
Age Limit
- For SSR (MED) 02/2025 Batch: Born between 01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008.
- For SSR (MED) 02/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008.
Salaries
- During Training: ₹14,600/month (stipend).
- Post-Training:
- Basic Pay: ₹21,700 – ₹68,100 (Level 3, Defense Pay Matrix).
- Additional Benefits: MSP ₹5,200/month + DA, allowances (HRA, medical, travel).
- Promotions: Up to Master Chief Petty Officer (Level 8: ₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100 + allowances).
Qualifications
- Educational: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and 50% aggregate (minimum 40% in each subject).
- Additional:
- Candidates appearing for 2024–25 board exams can apply provisionally.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Exempted from Stage I (INET).
Selection Process
- Stage I – INET Exam:
- 100 MCQs (English, Science, Biology, General Awareness).
- 1-hour duration, negative marking (0.25 per wrong answer).
- Exemption for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders and sponsored candidates.
- Stage II:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- 1.5 km run (6 min 30 sec), 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 sit-ups.
- Written Exam: 100 MCQs (similar to Stage I).
- Medical Examination:
- Height: 157 cm minimum.
- Vision: 6/12 (uncorrected), 6/6 (corrected), CP Pass.
- Tattoo restrictions (inner forearms/dorsal palm only).
- Final Merit List: Based on Stage II performance, medical fitness, and state-wise cutoffs.
